THE GAME OF CRICKET

ATTACKING CRICKET?
The new "generation cricket game" has gone beyond the olden days glorious playing in good sportsmanship of maintaining the team discipline to the highest order.
The present cricketing is almost a "Close Quarter Battle" between the bowler and the batsman. Earlier the bowling was "Under Arm" action and later on moved on to " Over Arm" delivery.
The recent fast bowling action varies with different bowlers. Instead of the vertical circle over the shoulders the tilted circular arm movements always tend to "Throwing action" leading to injury to the batsman above the belt.
Moreover the technique in this game is not only the fast ball, but intelligent and slow ball which makes the batsman in dual mind in hitting & make mistakes.

The recent untimely Death of Phil Dughes, proves that uncontrolled and bullet fast balls can "kill" the batsman on the spot. I feel that, to safe guard such mishap of losing life in this renowned field game, the " under Arm" bowling action must be reintroduced in all the cricket matches. No spinner can ever KILL a batsmen even if he wants to >>>.. A divinity in action in bowling fast bouncers will greatly help the batsman facing the ball moving at Bullet speed..
