The Values of Life

The life is a mixture of Good and Evil. God created Man with the definite purpose of giving the choice to his Supreme creation-man so as to be free in his mind to accept what he wants and to reject what he does not. But man did not use this discretion and he fell into the hands of the Devil.

There began the down fall of Man and the generations thereafter continued to disobey the “ inner man”. The struggle between the good & bad continued right from the beginning of mans, life on this planet and it will go on till such time we realize the TRUTH and reinforce our mind to face the realities of life using the rightful choice given to us by the Creator. We can appreciate the Goodness only if we encounter Bad situations. We have good and bad choices in different stages in our life, and our success depends on how best we exercise our mind to accept the right one for our benefit and also for the benefit of our neighbours. A garden will be beautiful only when it has varieties of flowering plants. All of the flowers may not be sweet smelling or of the same colour. The fragrance of different species will be recognized by us due to the comparison of the individual qualities. Similarly the goodness of our life can only be revealed by our exemplary devotion and life style we maintain amidst difficult circumstances. For success in life we have to face both good& bad elements to live in this world.
In fact good & bad qualities are the two sides of the same coin. Both are equally accessible, but equally at opposite poles .When tossing the coin everybody shouts HEAD and none shouts for the TAIL. That means a definite choice is preferred and that too the HEAD. The ultimate aim in life is to face the realities of life and to live without fear or favour

Triangle of Forces

To my Indian Friends,
The main three components of the Central Ministry are, The Legislature, The Judiciary and The Executive. All the three, when work together in harmony, respecting each other's points of view and then arriving at a common decision will result in a balanced situation in the Govt Machinery. But if, they are at logger-heads, trying to excel in their dispositions, then matters will not be in unison and will lead to chaos, thereby disabling the Adminisration.
The TRIANGLE OF FORCES as it is often used in Engineeing has a great role to play in the Equilibrium of structures. The PERFECT FRAME with minimum number of sides(Members) is the Equilateral Triangle. Therefore it can be taken to represent the three Formation of the Government- The Legislature, The Judiciary and The execuive. Thus the Main HUB of the Wheel of Government Machinery , will be the Three FORCES mentioned above. When these three forces work in UNISON OR RESONANCE with uniform Amplitude, the Govt. Machinery will run smoothly in its march towards progress.

The recent disharmony and disturbances in the three WINGS of the Govt. is only due to lack of MUTUAL TRUST and UNDERSTANDING within the three components. The THRITHWA Or THREEMURTHI Or GOD< SON< and HOLYGHOST are only the MANIFESTATION of GOD. The TRiangle ofForces is applicable in the TRINITY also. Therefore let us not ignore the impotance of this TRIANGLEOF FORCES comprising of Legislature, Judiciary and Executive and respect each other for a peaceful existence.

Judicial Reforms

To my Indian Friends

Justice Delayed is Justice Denied- Quoting this saying the retired Chief Justice of India Sr. V.N.KHARE has observed that tyhe present scenario in the Indian Judiciary needs immediate revamping and restructuring in respect of disposal of pending cases and also in settling the disputes in diferent courts adopting Fast Track measures. The inadequacy of officials in the Judiciary is a major factor in the deteriorating condition of the System. When compared to the ratio of Judges to the population in other countries, we are running at a very low ebb.The ratio that prevails in foreign countries is 135 to 150 Judges for every 10 lakhs population where as our position is as low as 13.5 Judges for every 10 lakhs population.

Does it not sound ridiculous? When we have a population of 100 crores or more what should be our requirement?. We need a minimum strength of 1,50,000 Judges to deal with the crimes both Civil and Criminal. The present state of affairs will take us to more than ONE LIFE SPAN to settle the cases pending in each court! That means, we are virtually captived in PRISON, before a decision is taken in a particular case. Also it may be that the Judge who initiated action in the beginning stage of a particular case may not LIVE to see the End result of that case!. If this is the reality we face, then we have to STRIKE OTHER CHORDS. Harping on the Same String will not help us to get through the difficult moments we are passing through.

The crisis as it is presented gives rise to a feeling that we are not committed in our approach to the burning problems confronting us in the fast developing world. Unless we gear up our Machinery to match with the developed world we may miss the target we aim at , causing delay and disharmony in public life. I am in full support of the suggestion that departments like POLICE/JUDICIARY should be independant bodies with out STRINGS ATTACHED and with out Political Interference. Therefore Codes and Practices should undergo timely changes to suit the prevailing Life Style and behaviour of people ,which do not fully relate to the Constitutional Provisions meant for the earlier generations. The old Wine in New bottle concept will upset OR imbalance the peaceful existence of the people of India. REFORMATION IS A NECESSITY. Therefore let us make up the Time loss and Trigger up activities in all Fronts with full commitment and involvement in the progress of the NATION in its competition with the other neighbouing countries.

HUMAN TRAITS

Religious Concepts confer remarkable traits in Human Beings. At some stage in ones life he or she comes across persons whose very presence give the motivation and also instill in them confidence and moral courage to launch their ideologies to improve the living conditions of others. Study of Religious Texts always corrects the Line of thinking and helps to accomplish the tasks entrusted to us. The guide lines given by the Experts will help us to remould ourselves to the desired shape for discharging our duties to the society we live in, without Fear or Favour.

CRUELTY TO ANIMALS

To My Indian Readers

Though late I thought I would sent my comments on the views of Smt. Menaka Gandhi in her quest for protecting the animals from exploitation and also from killing for food or for any other purpose including in Circus camps and for bullock carts etc. She, is in fact, taking the leading role in preventing such cruelty to the animals. While we take care of the animals both domestic and wild, with great enthusiasum, let us not forget the TWO LEGGED ANIMALS who are at present illtreated much more than the ancient times when human civilisation was in its primitive stages.

Olden days primitive man used to eat human flesh, even when animal meat was available. But when he became civilised he diverted his attention towards animals for his daily needs. Animals also lived on other living species for their existence. Mutual support is the natural law that existed when life began on this planet. This fact is evident from the Universe also, as we see the Planets remaining in their orbits only by mutual attraction of the Solar Systems. It was the Creator's Intention that Man should eat meat from the animals and the Animals from other species. This is a natuaral process and nobody can reverse the same. The proposed ban on slaughtering of animals for food is going to cause total imbalance in the Nature. Can we consume milk from Cows, Buffalos or Goats? If we do so ,we are depriving the young ones of the animals from their natural food!. That means, we should stop using milk in any FORM. Now what about the use of Vegitables? Let us not forget the fact that the Vegitations(Plants) also have LIFE like any other creations. The only difference is that they cannot move from one place to another OR converse with each other. These Immobile creatures also are to be PROTECTED in the same spirit as we maintain for Animals!. That means the VEGITARIANS have to "STRIKE OTHER CHORDS" for their livelyhood.

I recall the saying of Smt.Menaka that in BENGAL we see people with PRASAD in one hand
and with MEAT in the other hand coming from the Temples?. But we must know that in BENGAL buffalos are sacrificed to please the GODESS KALI. Therefore it is natural that they carry the PRASAD-Meat with them after Puja. We have to be realistic in our approach to the life pattern we maintain all through on this planet- Earth.Nobody needs to become Wise overnight and start launching schemes which will cause ecological problems and utter chaos in the very Existence of Human Beings.

According to me ,it is high time that we should rise against the attrocities towards Human Beings and form an organisation to prevent cruelties to Men& Women. I may cal it as "SOCIETY FOR PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO HUMAN BEINGS". Let us not forget the old saying- "Take Care of the Vital Things Other Things will Take care of Themselves".

Violent Demonstrations

To my Indian Friends

SOCRETES the Greek Philosopher was condemned to Death attributing the Crime- "Corrupting the Young". I do not think that Socretes has done anything worse than the present political leaders! Then what can be the punishment to those Leaders who motivate and instigate the masses to destroy public property and even kill people? This type of "Political Invation" doing Violence causing heavy damage to property and life cannot be allowed to continue any longer.

Not a single day goes without a Bundh or similar disturbances in the State of Kerala ,causing interuption in public life and thereby endangering the life of peace loving people. Does this kind of Violent demonstrations have any Legal coverage, when it is injuring the privilege of a citizen in his/her fundamental right of Freedom of living? I do not think so. Then why such happenings daily in this "Free India"? If we do not have faith in our own Elected members in State Assembly and in Parliamnt, then why we elect them? The answer lies in the fact that the present day Elections are all "Forced Issues" under threat of life by the violent elements in the party leadership!. If there is no difference between the life Before Independance and life After Independance then why we elect the wrong person in the Democratic set up?.No doubt people can give vent to their feelings and resentment through peaceful demonstrations. Such type of reactions will never cause damage to the general public or disrupt normal day to day activities. The violent and aggressive nature of protests are arising from the Political rivalry in our DEMOCRATIC set up. The politicians have a feeling that they should support their party in whatever deliberations they make without a logical approach in analising the acceptability of the Decision. This kind of Politically blind touch will definitely lead to a DEMONOCRATIC rule!. Irrepairable damages have been done in most of the recent Bundhs to public properties and Human life and Peaceful existence of Human beings is at Stake.

Unless the Government Officials in Authority take prompt and stringent action to curb such desstructive demonstrations by any Group whatsoever, public safety and harmonious living of the people will be in Danger......

Indian Cinema Hundred Year,s Old

To my Indian Friends

Permit me to express my personal views on the Indian Cinema Industry that has been prevalent in our country for the past one Hundred Years. I recall my first experience of seeing a black and white Cinema AMBIKAPATHI a Tamil film in my village. It was a thrilling moment for me to see actors moving on the screen and speaking to each other as if in real life. The costumes also were appropriate to the roles enacted.

Earlier days the Cinema was intended to impart moral values including sober entertainments in the minds of the people to become better citizens. This trend has totally disappeared in the modern Cinema, and no importance whatsoever is given to moral values of Life. The latest Cinema shows have drifted off from its idealistic virtues and are now bringing in imagination and fantacy, depicting errotic gesticulations and suggestive movements of the body , inducing damaging effects in the minds of the Young and the old, resulting in indiscipline and waverdness in social life.

The Female Figure was fully exploited to attract the baser elements of common man and thereby luring them to social evils such as rape, murder, and other henious crimes. The film makers minted money in this process and there was no agency to curb this low Profile Cinemas.Money was the ultimate end and therefore the Means adopted to achieve the same was justified by several lobbies.

According to me the Cinema- most of them- have not contributed anything substantial to the public at large in building up a healthy and peaceful life style. Instead it has drawn the Younger ,Adolescent children to ruination by instilling in their minds an idea of "Indecent Exposures" and other Sex provoking activities. Most of the Cinemas are based on imaginary writings of Perverted Themes which do not have any bearing on realities of Life.Youngsters who see such fantacy films take them for granted and apply the same in their life style!, resulting in Social Degradation.

Therefore unless there is a thorough shakeup in the Cinema world and makers of Films attach importance to Moral Values and produce Educative and Socially relevant Cinemas, the society will be driven to the point of no return. Also restriction to be imposed on the costumes which expose the body "beyond lakshman rekha".Unless we ensure this in the Films, the rupture already created in the Human Fabric cannot be mended!. Therefore let us Wake up before it is too late and try to improve the Quality of Indian Cinema and also TV SHOWS to create a better living conditions.
