ESCLUSIVE BANKS FOR WOMEN

                                                      WOMEN BANKS

The latest thinking of starting “women bank” is a farfetched idea mooted by few experts in the banking system. How could such women bank help the women in the banking business? Have we not sufficient women employees in the banks as on now, managing well and taking care of both men & women clients/customers?

Now, how come a “women bank” can ease the situation in banking by women, better than the system available at present?  Can I take it that only women will manage the whole banking business and only women will be availing the facilities in such “women banks”. Even as on date there are equal or more women employees in the banks than ever before, sometimes exceeding the number of men.

Will this novel idea of opening women banks result in free space in the banking business for women without any interference of men in between? Is it because of the harassment and untoward behavior of men towards the women, which gave rise to such innovation in banking sector?

In that case why we will not have a” separate state for women”, especially when the women suffer a lot on account of torture from men all over India?  We can give the women a “fenced up” enclosure where they will safely remain from the cruelties of men! Will it be a practical idea?. I have brought in many questions which need to be addressed so that an amicable solution can be found to solve the intimidating situations, the women of today confront, in their day to day life.

Most of our remedial measures are short cut methods- Dig a hole to fill a hole! Always one  hole is left over.. Because of the frequent accidents in the Airways/Railways/ Roadways, can we stop these transport system to prevent fatal accidents? No, then what next?. Unless we commit ourselves to the CALL and take responsibility in managing the system of Governance, we will continue to suffer irreparable loss to humanity in the coming years. Let us strike the IRON when it is HOT!
