Mal Administration in Government

To my readers in India,

IMBALANCED ADMINISTRATION OF GOVERNMENT MACHINERY.

The recent political rivalry is going violent without any control or check by the ruling government. The daily occurrences in this type of violent demonstrations and assaults on individuals and public property are to be condemned. The responsibility in this unruly reaction rests wholly with the Government officials. The Ministers concerned should particularly be alert and vigilant in such destructive demonstrations and take corrective measures immediately. Otherwise we are heading towards an irrevocable and disastrous end of the people of the country as a whole. The elected representatives must act in a more soberly way to attend the day to day affairs of the state without any ‘party politics’. The wayward thinking of their existence only, overlooking the public, is the Bane of the present society. Unless the MP’s and MLAs hold the state as their prime and top most priority, the country will, in the near future, be engulfed by the neighboring states or outsiders. If we do not correct our ways of Public Administration, the future of the people will be ruined on account of poor governance of the country. The time is not far before we are engulfed by our neighbors or by outsiders!

Ø As we see now, we do not have a sense of responsibility to ourselves in our own things or matters relating to others in the society. This applies to the Ministers, down to the workers at all levels as well. Of late we have been noticing the behavior of the ministers, who do not apply any serious thoughts in their language in communication and also in their utterances in public. No one knows deep into the subject matter they are dealing with, whether it is in Public administration or in execution of nominated projects. There is no .Time Frame’ in any work that is urgently to be done. The condition of the roads reveals that fact. Timely action is missing in our plans. Every body tries to excel others in the field, resulting in total confusion confounded!.
Having had the good fortune of working in 13 states of the Indian Union during my service in the Indian Railways, I have a feeling that we in Kerala have lost the sense of proportion and we act arbitrarily in sudden reflexes and lead the people in a state of uncertainty. The Party affiliation and affection is quite good. But when it exceeds its limit, then it becomes a ‘public nuisance’. The party spirit cannot bring in a good Government set up. Public Spirit only can do that!. Therefore once the government body is framed, no individual concerns to be brought in to the Government machinery. The party spirit and the performance stops at the Entrance of the Assembly hall! Thereafter the common interest of the state prevails, and administration takes off in a steady speed on priority basis. Mutual Respect and Acceptance will definitely give better results in the discussion and Decision taken in the government
